Oral Presentation Guidelines

Slides do not need to be submitted before the Congress. The Speakers’ Ready Room is situated on Level 22, on the same level as the registration counters.

Before your presentation, kindly ensure that you submit and upload your final file(s) at the Speakers’ Ready Room at least 2 HOURS before your scheduled presentation time.

Please take a moment to confirm your presentation timing and location with the staff on duty, and to review your file(s) for accuracy and completeness.

All speakers, chairpersons and moderators are to be present in the allocated session room at least 15 minutes before the start of the session.

Audio-visual equipment

The standard audio-visual and IT equipment provided includes:

• Laptop on rostrum
• Projector with screen
• Gooseneck condenser microphone
• Presentation clicker with laser pointer
• Presenter monitor 
• Support for PowerPoint presentations in a 16:9 aspect ratio
• MacBook connectivity and video/audio playback support

If you intend to use your own laptop for the presentation, please ensure that you bring the necessary converter/adaptor, as only HDMI connection is available.

 

Congress Registration

Registered speakers, chairpersons, moderators and panelists will have access to the Speakers’ Ready Room on Level 22, all main congress rooms on Level 22 and Level 23, the exhibition area, and other public areas of the Congress, including lunch and refreshments. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the designated hall or meeting room assigned for your session.
Please be reminded that your Congress badge is personal and non-transferable. You may collect your Congress name badge at the Speaker Registration Counter located at Level 22. Please refer to the table below for opening hours.
